Community Involvement

Helping the Community We Fight For

At MAS Law, we strive to better the community around us. We encourage our team to explore their passions and fight for justice in all aspects of life, not just the courtroom. To promote this advocacy, MAS Law hosts a variety of community initiatives. There are many who are unable to advocate for themselves or in need of assistance: cats and dogs at local rescue facilities, unhoused people seeking shelter, less fortunate children, our planet, and so many more. The team at MAS Law is determined to do their part to help those in need.

AVANCE NTX

At MAS Law, we believe strong communities begin with strong families. That's why we are proud to support AVANCE NTX, a nonprofit organization dedicated to early childhood development, family education, and empowering parents to become advocates and leaders within their communities.

Through its programs, AVANCE NTX helps parents foster early learning, strengthen parent-child communication, and promote the early prevention of child abuse. Their mission aligns closely with MAS Law's commitment to family, advocacy, and ensuring every voice is heard.

Throughout the year, MAS Law has been honored to support AVANCE NTX's efforts to serve North Texas families. We hosted a Back-to-School Drive to help provide essential school supplies for children preparing for a successful school year and contributed funding to support the organization's Children's Day celebration, which brings families together while highlighting the importance of education, community, and opportunity.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support the important work AVANCE NTX does every day and to help further its mission of creating stronger families and brighter futures throughout North Texas.

MAS Season of Giving

At MAS Law, giving back is more than a holiday tradition. It's a reflection of who we are. Each year, we proudly continue our Season of Giving, an initiative dedicated to supporting the causes that matter most to our team members and the communities we serve.

During the holiday season, our team members share the organizations and causes they are passionate about. Then, during the month of December, we select a different organization each week to receive a donation and be featured by MAS Law. From supporting local nonprofits to uplifting community-focused programs, the Season of Giving allows us to make a meaningful impact while celebrating the spirit of generosity.

By empowering our team to help guide our giving efforts, we are able to support a wide range of organizations that are making a difference and helping create stronger communities across North Texas and beyond.

Film & Media

Expanding Impact Through Media

At MAS Law, we believe advocacy can take many forms. Beyond serving clients and supporting community initiatives, our leadership is committed to sharing stories that educate, inspire, and spark meaningful conversation. Through film and media projects, we strive to highlight important issues, celebrate resilience, and amplify voices that deserve to be heard. These creative efforts reflect our broader mission: making a positive impact both inside and outside the courtroom.

The Winners

Managing Shareholder and Executive Director, Sean Modjarrad, has dedicated his career to speaking up for the underdog. “Being a mouthpiece, being a person who advocates for the person with no voice, that is important,” Mr. Modjarrad said in a previous interview. Through his exploration of film, Mr. Modjarrad has turned being a “mouthpiece” into a passion that others can experience and enjoy.

His current project, the 2021 limited series The Winners, examines the legal system and injustice in the form of comedic satire.
